Preventive
Care
Wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite
control, geriatric care. We also offer
nutritional counseling and behavior counseling.
We strongly recommend annual checkups and blood
panels to detect problems early. Early
detection of diseases (before symptoms arise)
will extend life expectancy and quality of life,
especially in older cats. Our vaccine protocols
are individualized for each patient based on
risk and lifestyle, as well as the health and
age of the cat. Health certificates for travel
and microchipping are also available. We do our
best to help make your cat’s visit as low
stress as possible, and to help you with all
your cat’s needs.

Surgeries are performed in our surgical suite
using balanced anesthesia, sterile techniques,
and a circulating warming blanket. Cardiac,
respiratory, and oxygenation monitors and IV
fluids are utilized, as well as pain medication
during and after surgery. All anesthetic
procedures are continuously monitored and vital
signs charted by our technicians. We perform
elective
surgeries, soft-tissue procedures, and dental
surgeries. Anesthetic recovery is monitored by
our technicians until your pet is fully awake.

Dentistry
Preventive care and treatment of dental conditions,
including complete dental examination and charting,
dental radiographs, ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and
fluoride treatment. All of our dentistry patients
receive an IV catheter and IV fluids. If extractions
are necessary, your cat will receive pain medication
to ensure that they wake up comfortably. Endodontics
(root canal) and gingival surgeries performed.
Untreated dental diseases can have effects on your
pet's heart, liver, and kidneys.
We frequently hear from owners that their cat seems younger and more energetic once we take care of the dental decay. |

Boarding
Our feline guests are monitored closely every day for
appetite, attitude and elimination habits. In addition
to out regular boarding units, we also have double
units with a door between, and larger condo units with
windows. The condos and double units are nice
for pairs of cats from the same household to stay
together. Owners may bring special diets, treats, or
bedding to make their cats' stay more comfortable.
Boarding cats receive fresh food, water and litter
boxes twice a day, along with daily brushing (if the
cat enjoys it) and treats. We have Science Diet food
available, but we recommend you bring whatever your
cat is accustomed to eating. If your pet normally
takes medications, we will give oral medications as
needed (please bring meds and instructions with you). |
